*IMPORTANT*
===========
YAFRay 01jun05 cvs have a lot of new features: 
eg: occlusion in pathlight and hemilight, AA controls, bump supported in 
phong shader, dispersion and absorption etc.

And this YA(G)Max are base on that cvs. So download it form yafray forum! 
Otherwise you may not get a right image or even can't render.

Since YA(G)Max export standard material as generic shader, so using some
advance features like 'dispersion and absorption' and 'environment' are 
a bit tricky. Please read the included yamaxRef.htm carefully to use the
max power!


This is the first time ever I changed my mind to write scripted plugins 
for (G)Max.

Since YAFRay have a lot powerful shader we can use, so I implant them 
all(almost) to (G)Max. The draw back is you may mixing them with other 
original material/texturemap (G)Max ones. So end up with missing 
plugins/strange render etc. 
Before you use them, you been wanted!!!

A suggestion to using these scripted plugins will be save your scene file 
with a distinctive name, eg: ya_myscene.



Since new YAMax could execute yafray.exe to render within Max.
You have to tell where yafray.exe located and some other stuff etc.

These infos. are stored in %Max Dir%\Plugcfg\yamax.ini.(yagmax.ini for GMax)
so Edit it before you use YAMax!
Optional: You can also define a default filename for xml and image exports.  

if YA(G)Max can't found this yamax.ini(yagmax.ini), it will use 
D:\yafray\yafray.exe as default



INSTALLATION
============
unzip the downloaded file to Max root directory, and all files will go into
right place.


HOW TO RUN
==========
In Max/GMax under utility panel -> MaxScripts -> Run Script and select the 
mse to run. A new GUI popup and there you go.

There is a ms file included. "YAFRay008_Shader.ms"

Just as normal if you didn't put them into startup folder, Open material 
editor, You will found lots of new materials/texturemap start will YR_!

Remember if you load a scene with these material assigned and you haven't 
run my scripted plugins, you will got an error of missing 
material/texturemap! Run the scripted plugins before loading that scene 
file.
